Sensei Kohlter

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by martial arts. It all started when I was introduced to karate at the age of 6, and from then on, I knew that it was something I wanted to pursue for the rest of my life. Fast forward 15 years, and I am now a second-degree black belt and a Sensei at Evolutionary Martial Arts.

Throughout my martial arts journey, I have had the opportunity to compete all around the country for 13 years in various categories, from creative weapons katas to point sparring. Not only did I improve my skills and discipline, but I also developed a competitive spirit that has helped me in all aspects of my life.

One of the things that I’m most proud of is helping my little brother and my dad on their black belt journey. Being able to pass on the knowledge and skills that I have gained over the years to my family has been a truly rewarding experience.

Outside of martial arts, I am also currently working towards getting a bachelors degree from Weber State University. I believe that education is a key component to success, and I strive to continue learning and growing in all areas of my life.
